Super Fast Internet In The Woods

If you are camping in the woods, getting fast cell reception can be an issue. I am testing this broadband 4G router. Basically, this device finds the nearest cell tower and boosts the signal to cable like speeds. There are no caps and no throttling. The device is great but it is a bit pricy at 130.00 a month. But if you live this far out in the woods it can be a lifesaver. The drawback is that you cannot take it with you. It is designed more for a static installation in one place.

Many folks will use a Jet Pack or other device that says it has unlimited data but that is not really true. After you use your data quota, the rest that is left is not truly unlimited as they will throttle you terribly. It will slow down to a crawl.

The last option is using a satellite dish. These are great, sometimes. When the weather is clear they work great but if the weather gets bad or rainy, you likely will have a very slow connection or no connection at all. You can see that living way out or being away from fast internet sources can be a challenge. You will have to experiment with various sources to see which solution works best for you.
